Thanks for joining me!

It is always hard to start something new, but the desire to achieve big things is what keeps us trying and doing. For me, having a blog was completely unimaginable about two months ago, but since then I visited the glorious city of Rome and felt like I really have to share the pieces of information and thoughts I have about the ancient Roman history that I am so passioned about. The reason why I started this blog is that I want to help those who would like to learn about one of the biggest empires that ever existed. For my surprise, when I searched for information about the ancient Roman times, I found it difficult to get the answers I wanted so I had to search for them in books by ancient biographers like Suetonius or Cassius Dio. Now that I have a very large range of information, I feel like I can help you by publishing articles filled with useful pieces of information and explanations. I really hope that together we can learn new things, share experiences and have a good time on this blog. So, I am saying the same thing that one of the biggest military leaders, Julius Caesar reportedly said when crossing the Rubicon, Alea iacta est(the die is cast).
