Ancient Sun Temple Uncovered in Cairo

Yahoo! pretty much covers what everyone else is saying about it. I’d like to say more but my Egyptian stuff is staying firmly on the shelf at the moment as I have other stuff to complete. There might be something astronomical about the site, as there certainly is about many other ancient Egyptian sites, Karnak being the obvious example. Sarah Symons knows more about this sort of stuff at Leicester, she completed her PhD on Egyptian Mathematics if I remember correctly. Anyhow, while looking briefly to see if she had anything astronomical online I found this PDF of her work in diagonal star clocks found in Egyptian coffins.
