Archaeoastronomy in Bahrain?

I’m away today in Oxford again, so I doubt I’ll post much. I’ve just finished Valerie Shrimplin’s Sun Symbolism and Cosmology in “Michelangelo’s Last Judgment” and it’s stunning so I’ll be posting on that once I’ve worked out what I can say without plagarising the whole book.

That’s stunning in a good way.

In the meantime there’s a story while came out last night on a possible astronomical observatory in Bahrain dating from thousands of years ago. That’s a vague date, but the news report isn’t that informative.
