Back online

It turns out the server hosting this site was having read/write problems, which were slowing down the server response. This was compounded by my home ISP having its own issues with talking to slow servers and so I haven’t been able to access the site nor pick up email. It’s a shame as it turns out I’ve missed once-in-a-lifetime offers to refinance my loan, get a new logo for my website and get a degr3e, which I assume is a degree where spelling isn’t an issue.

How unlucky is that?

I suppose I could launch into a rant about my hosts, but they’re very nice. They were upfront in saying there was a problem, they announced it before I noticed, and helpful in making back-ups and trying to get the hardware fixed over the weekend. I’m not thrilled to have had the break-down, but it could have been a lot worse.
