Book by its Cover: NDQ@90, Version 2

Just a quick update before a day full of meetings. Last Wednesday, I floated a draft of a little book that my students in our writing, editing, and publishing practicum put together. The book is an innovative anthology of writing that appeared in the first 90 volumes of North Dakota Quarterly. It’ll serve as a creative way to engage with NDQ’s vast archive.

I liked the concept of the cover that I proposed last week, but thought it was maybe a bit too dark. Fortunately, Grant McMillan was available to take a few photos for us including this much lighter image of early volumes of NDQ. You can check out Grant’s work here.

This little book is almost ready and should be out sometime in the next couple of weeks!

And if you really can’t wait, you could … very quietly… download a sneak peek here.
