Carnivals Ahoy!
It’s been a busy weekend for blog carnivals. Two surprised me by including posts from this blog in them.
The BritBlog Roundup links to my post on fractal societies. I should point out that I haven’t the faintest idea of how I’d measure a Hausdorff dimension either, but if I couldn’t do that then I wouldn’t claim to have discovered a new fractal.
Carnivalesque is on the Early Modern period this month, so I didn’t expect to be in. When you look at the posts by other people who know what they’re talking about then it still comes as a surprise that I’m in. It’s proof of how interesting Valerie Shrimplin’s work on the Michelangelo Code is, I feel.
The latest History Carnival is up at (a)musings of a grad student. There were so many entries this time round that about a quarter were cut. It would suggest that the History Carnival could go weekly were it not for the lack of hosts. I’m pleased because about 4 out of 5 nominations I made got in. As for the one that didn’t I’ll be writing at greater length about that later.
