I’ve made a few changes. The biggest is I’ve moved the blog back to wordpress.com. I got the bill for the next year’s hosting for clioaudio and I thought there’s better things I can do with $120. It means I lose some features, but I wasn’t doing much that needed a server of my own anymore, and certainly nothing I’d pay $120 to do. I think I’ve got everything across, including a few phantom comments. If I’ve deleted one of your comments I apologise.
Telling you about the problems I had importing the Clioaudio entries back into this blog would be about as tedious as the process of doing it.

Other changes are I’ve opened up the commenting system further. There shouldn’t be a need to register, or even leave an email address if you don’t want to. Unfortunately I can’t say you’ll be totally anonymous if you do that, because WordPress.com keeps track of the IP addresses of commentators.
Additionally it also uses a system called Akismet. Akismet is used to stop weblogs being filled with junk comments advertising junk, scams and more. Sadly, it’s not perfect. For instance if I comment from an .ac.uk domain I tend to find my comments are listed as spam, because it’s a common domain to spoof. The best I can offer is to look through the spam bin every couple of days, but I could still miss things. The alternative would be to require registration, which would mean no-one could comment.
You’re welcome to agree or disagree with me in the comments. Being wrong is one of my more common hobbies, just behind breathing.
On the other hand that’s not an invitation to post paranoid rants. Basically, if you’re sort of person who thinks my spellchecker deliberately patronises Americans by not using a z, then I won’t waste breath arguing with you. You’ll go in the bin – unless you’re funny. Sadly that’s not a made up complaint. It’s from another site and it is about me.
That warning isn’t for the two nutters who will be binned. It’s for everyone else to let them know that lunatics might put comments up, but there’s no need to argue with them because they’ll disappear when I get round to clicking the delete key.
You can email me through relevant form.
