Egad! That’s a popular site!

Leicester has a post-grad journal which may or may not continue running at http://undoctored.co.uk/ If you’re quick you’ll be able to see it, but unfortunately it’s going to be offline for the remainder of July. It’s just become overwhelmingly popular and I simply can’t afford the bandwidth to keep it running. A brief look at the stats might not suggest that it’s particularly popular, but you’d be mistaken. Normally traffic would be 300MB a month, it’s used over 1000MB in a day despite no obvious increase in vistors or page views.

On a connected note you may want to set up a robots.txt file on your server with the lines:

User-agent: GigabotDisallow: /

at the top. Gigabot is a web crawler owned by Gigablast and if it finds you it will you again and again and again.
