Friday Quick Hits and Varia

It is finally feeling like spring here in North Dakotaland with temperatures almost kissing 60° yesterday and heavy wet snow scheduled for Saturday. 

This weekend will be busy with lots of loose ends from last week (including a pile of grading) to confront. That said, it is the start of the Formula 1 season and the 12 hours of Sebring. The Cup guys are in Las Vegas. There are some decent boxing cards this weekend as well as a few good NBA games. In other words, between papers to grade, books to read, words to write, and things to watch, I won’t be bored.

I’d also be remiss to not mention the publication of Michael G. Michlovic’s An Archaeology of the Red River of the North from The Digital Press at the University of North Dakota. It’s a very good book and well worth your time to grab a free download.
