Friday Quick Hits and Varia

It’s a cool Friday morning with more mild temperatures on tap for the weekend here in North Dakotaland.

The end of the third session of day 1 of the second test between Australia and India is on TV in the background. The final pre-playoff college football games will take up Saturday until the Emanuel Navarrete vs. Oscar Valdez title fight late that night. No rest for the wicked, though, the final race in the F1 circus starts at 7 am on Sunday. 

Other than that, my weekend will be filled with some writing, some book making, and some reading. And, of course, a rush to restock my depleted inventory of quick hits and varia. For now, enjoy:
