Friday Varia and Quick Hits
It’s finally Friday, and we’re looking ahead to another mild weekend. There will be some cricket on TV tomorrow morning (South Africa – Australia in the first of three ODIs). There’s a book that’s almost finished and with any luck, I’ll get a bit of writing in for my paper next month in the UK.
The dogs have been promised long walks in the park and my little stack of new books is beginning to call out for some attention. This weekend looks pretty good.
Hopefully, this little gaggle of quick hits and varia will make your weekend better as well:
Liturgy and Religious Practice in Late Antique Rome and Medieval Europe from Acta ad archaeologiam et artium historiam pertinentia.
What I’m reading: Dan Hicks and Sarah Mallet, Lande: The Calais ‘Jungle’ and Beyond. (Bristol 2019).
What I’m listening to: Grimes, Miss Anthropocene.

At the club.
