It’s well and truly fall here in North Dakotaland with temperatures lingering in the 50s during the day and dropping into the 40s at night. We have a had a frost warning and the trees are changing.

Since it is fall, it is also time for football. The NFL season kicked off last night with weird game between the Eagle and the Cowboys and I hope to catch some of the games this weekend. The college football season is entering its second week lull with Ohio State playing Grambling. The F1 guys are at Monza which is one of my favorite tracks. The Phillies, fresh of taking 2 out of 3 from the Brewers have to maintain focus and play the Marlins this weekend.

This week saw the second New Book Day of the fall with the publication of Context and Content: The Art of WDedited by Kostis Kourelis and in collaboration with the artist, WD (Wild Drawing). Grab a free download today!

The weekend sees another book deep into production, some reading, and hopefully a bit of writing to wrap up a book review. Otherwise, it’s class prep and grading and some time to unwind.

Finally, there are some quick hits and varia.
