Friday Varia and Quick Hits

I’m running out of gas this semester, but spring weather and a summer in the Mediterranean is keeping me going!

This weekend will be hectic with various things from the annual Time Out Wacipi Powwow to the springtime CAARI board meeting. With a little luck, I’ll catch a Phillies game and maybe more of the NBA playoffs. I wouldn’t mind watching the Cup guys as they take on the high banks of Talladega and I will probably watch the Stupidest Fight of the Century: Connor Benn vs. Chris Eubanks.

Otherwise, I’m hectic. Tomorrow, David Pettegrew and I are giving a paper in Seville, Spain (via Zoom) and with any luck that’ll be done by the time we’re due to deliver it! I’m working away on the paper that I’m giving in Korea in August. I have a stack of grading that I’m ignoring (casually like I have a plan) and some end of the semester course prep that I really should do, but maybe will just wing it.
