Friday Varia and Quick Hits

It’s always too early to declare it springtime in North Dakotaland, but with temperatures over 60° and only small furtive patches of snow left around, it feels like we’re on the good side of winter.

Unfortunately, there is simply too much to do (and to enjoy) to fully celebrate the fine spring weather this weekend. The F1 guys are in Bahrain, the NASCAR crews are in Bristol, and the Indy car circus is in Long Beach. The Phillies look to get their feet under them after a tough series against the Braves with a series against the Cardinals. On Sunday morning is the Paris-Roubaix cycling race on the famous cobbles. And Saturday night is the Boots Ennis-Eimantas Stanionis Welterweight tilt.
