Friday Varia and Quick Hits

It’s a cool, but not cold Friday here in North Dakotaland after a week of thawing and temperatures closer to 50° than 30°. While this has made our backyard into a lake, it has also made the walk across campus much more pleasant.

This weekend should be interesting. While I won’t get the Tank Davis versus Lamont Roach fight this weekend, I suspect it could be entertaining. I’ll probably avoid the Sixers’ second nationally televised game this week when they play Golden State on Saturday night. It’s starting to feel like watching a funeral. I will almost certainly watch the Cup guys on Sunday race at Circuit of the Americas and the Indy Car opener at St. Petersburg. I’m currently following the Australia-Afghanistan ODI and it feels like Australia is in control. 

Other than that, I have an issue of NDQ to get finished.

My week has been a bunch of interruptions, but most of them predictable. That means I’ve managed to get some work done, but my quick hits and varia look a bit anemic:
