Friday Varia and Quick Hits

It’s COLD here in North Dakotaland. After about six inches of snow yesterday, the temperatures dropped to around -10° F this morning giving us a frigid morning. Fortunately, other than a quick trip to take the dogs to their Club, I have no reason to be anywhere but by the fire today with some last second grading and a couple long articles to read.

It’s supposed to get warmer over the weekend, I think, but that won’t change my plans much. I plan to enjoy the Penn State-SMU game while peddling my stationary bike and then settle into watch the Tyson Fury-Oleksandr Usyk heavyweight tilt. The nightcap will be the Ohio State-Tennessee game. While I don’t wish that anyone lose their job especially at the holidays, I suspect Ryan Day’s job is on the line with this game.
