Friday Varia and Quick Hits

As the semester starts to wind down, we’re beginning to feel the first little twinges of Spring here in North Dakotaland with temperatures spiraling into the 50s and the piles of snow disappearing. 

It also means that I’m in an almost constant state of distraction and overextension. Fortunately, this weekend will offer me a bit of calm before the storm and a chance to get on top of grading, prepare both physically and mentally for my summer work season, and to relax a bit. In fact, I played a bit of hooky from work and watch F1 qualifying at Baku this morning while grading paper drafts. Tomorrow morning, I’ll watch the sprint race and then settle down to some reading and paperwork before the last week of classes.
