Friday Varia and Quick Hits

It’s starting to feel a bit like winter might be over here in North Dakotaland. The snow is starting to melt, temperatures are inching into the 40s, and the river is swelling over its banks. We’re not completely out of the woods yet, but it feels like we can see the end of the woods from here.

The changing weather means that this weekend will be a bit liminal. It’ll be a bit too cool still (in the upper 30s) to do springtime activities, but too slushy and soggy to feel like it’s still winter. I’m going to stick by the fire with a couple books. I’ll also check out the Sixers on Saturday, the Cup guys in Martinsville, and probably watch some of the Phillies series with the Reds. I will almost certainly watch the Joe Joyce fight this weekend too.
