Hannibal at Zama

Zama‘s by the modern town of Siliana in Tunisia. I don’t have a photo of the modern site, though to be honest one parched field in Tunisia looks much the same as any other. The tourist guide sums up Siliana well “Nightlife: Nothing“. The hotel is nice though. It’s a shame it’s so over-looked as it’s one of the places that was a turning point in world history.
