Harry Potter and the Rather Wooden Acting

The title says it all really. It’s a late post as my sister was round and wanted to see the new Harry Potter. I’ve seen the first, and I thought Hermione stole that one. This time it’s Ron’s turn to be the one who can act. Hermione wasn’t used a lot. The big problem is that the central character is simply dull. Though, to be fair, his role in the books is to be rather dull and have exciting things happen to him. Except in Book 5 where he also shouts a lot.

Rather like the books, the films aren’t bad but they’re not worth the hype. Except for Book 5, which I recall was awful. If they can make a fair film out of that, it’ll be quite an achievement.

Anyhow I’ll have a go at HP speculation for Book 7. I reckon a major character is going to die. My money’s on either Harry or Voldemort.
