Proto-Indo-European speaking herders from Yamna zone have expanded themselves to Late Cucuteni-Trypillian area. C-T was not originally Indo-European at all but part of Old European neolithic cultures. It only became Indo-Europeanised during the last stage of it’s existance.

This area, atleast the southern end of it, is imo Graeco-Armenian urheimat. This also perfectly explains the shared similarities between Aryan and Graeco-Armenian and why there is all the unnecessary fuss about the alleged “Graeco-Aryan”-branch.

Globular Amphora culture was born approximately same time due the steppic incursions of the Proto-Indo-Europeans. This area is the home of future Northwest Indo-European languages and it serves as formative stage of slightly later Corded Ware Cultural horizon. Tocharians were allready on their way to Siberia and Hittite was established at Anatolia.

Actual Early Proto-Indo-Europeans emerged as fusion between Khvalynsk-culture (northeast of the “Yamna” zone) and Dnieper-Donets culture Hunter-Gatherers. This amalgamation became the Strednij Stog-culture which is the proto-Yamna. This is the area that sprungs the Aryan dialects of Late PIE.
