Introduction

Hi everyone, this is my first post so please excuse me whilst I get used to it all. As I’ve recently finished at university, I thought it was about time I created a blog where I could share the interesting things I’ve found during my history research. This will probably be a bit of everything as I love things such as the Wars of the Roses, pirates and highwaymen, the Stuarts, the Georgians and country houses (just to name a few!). My most recent degree is in Public History and Heritage and I’ve always been interested in how history is portrayed to the public and have always thought that the public should have a wider interaction with history on whatever level is accessible to them. So yeah, both of those things are the reasons why I’ve decided to create this blog.

First of all I would like to tell you about my historical hero, Anthony Woodville (a blog post on him to follow soon). I personally believe he has been one of the forgotten participants in the Wars of the Roses. I’ve been researching into his life on and off for the past four years and hopefully wish to publish something about him in the future.
