Isis :protector of the dead and goddess of children

Isis, originally known in Ancient Egyptian as “Aset” or “Iset” (Ancient Greek: Ἶσις), is a goddess from Ancient Egyptian religious beliefs whose worship spread throughout the Greco-Roman world. She was revered as the epitome of motherhood and marital devotion, as well as the patroness of nature and magic. Her compassion extended to all, including slaves, sinners, artisans, and the oppressed, but she also responded to the prayers of the affluent, maidens, aristocrats, and rulers. Often depicted as the mother of Horus, the hawk-headed god of war and protection (although Hathor is considered Horus’s mother in some traditions), Isis is renowned for her role as the protector of the dead and the goddess of children.
