I think I ought to link today to Early Modern Notes out of a sense of guilt. It seems comments for me are starting to colonise other blogs, like this entry on Foucault’s Pendulum. It’s a useful site. A quick look down the sidebar at ‘Favourite posts’ reveals a treasure trove of helpful comments. It’s also helpful in pointing out some other interesting stuff on the web, like Europhobia’s book group looking at Foucault’s Pendulum.
As for the photo, it’s Le Panthéon, home of said pendulum.
