Military History Carnival 7 is up

I know the 7th edition of the Military History carnival is up, because Brett Holman kindly linked to one of my entries, but you’ll have to visit his page to see which one. If you have an interest in history then you certainly should because there’s some cracking articles listed. One which has been taxing me is a series of articles around a couple of photos taken during the Crimean War. One photo has cannonballs strewn across the road, the other has them neatly tidied away to the sides, but which one was staged and how to you prove it?
