More Cover Drafts

As the semester looms, I’m working to prepare a couple syllabi and wrap up some summertime projects before the semester drops on me like a ton of bricks. 

One of the ongoing projects is to complete Tuna Kalacyi’s edited volume, The Archaeology of Roads. We’re fairly far down the production path at this point and are just wrapping up page proofs. We are more or less on schedule for a mid-September release date.

As readers of this blog know, I’ve been messing around, somewhat unsuccessfully with versions of this book’s covers. I think I’m getting closer to a final design (putting aside the fact that on these design proofs I spelled the author’s last name wrong!).

I think the second version here is probably the winner (once, I spell the author’s name right… doh!).
