Moving Server

I’m moving the site to another server which has a base bandwidth of 10GB. I’d underestimated popular this site would be, it recently had its 50,000th recorded visitor and 100,000th page view. The new server means I’ll be putting the stuff I’m writing up elsewhere centrally again, and this site will be busier.

The problem is that the change will not go smoothly. I need to redirect the domain name, and that could mean you might see the new server before I can. After that I’ll need to set up WordPress again, and then try to restore the posts from here.

So basically – if you can see this message between July 3 and July 6 then the site is in the process of updating and anything you type shall be lost. If you can see this message and it’s July 7, then it’s all going hideously wrong.
