Music Monday: Gary Bartz

A few weeks ago, I went on a Gary Bartz binge and it has lingered on. Since I’m still traveling, I don’t have much time to add to this, but hopefully you’ll find something to entertain you here this morning!

Check out his Libra (1966) which was fairly raw, but a nevertheless powerful inaugural album:

And Another Earth (1968) which features Pharoah Sanders and feels much more assured:
