My del.icio.us bookmarks between the 6th of September and the 7th of September

These are things I’ve bookmarked between the 6th of September and the 7th of September. I may not have read them all yet.

• Yet they were an honourable lot – Honour and death in Derby, UK. I’ll keep an eye out for a review in the Evening Telegraph.

• The Prague Post Online: Former celeb turned political star – Moving mountains may be impossible, but moving prehistoric megaliths gets you elected in the Czech Republic.

• Archaeologists find remains of sky-disc people in Germany – Science – If they’re Stone Age then they’re centures older than the Sky Disc people. I’ll have to blog the very good recent article in Antiquity.

• Council claims â??win win solutionâ?? for Rotherwas Ribbon | 24dash.com – Local Government – …or to put it another way ‘The council won’.

• Afarensis: Evangelicals Threaten Nigerian Artifacts – Yet another danger for Africa’s archaeology grows. History repeating as farce?
