I’ve been using technorati and Britblog to look around for more sites. Marky Moo has taken a trip to Avebury and got a beautiful picture that’s well worth looking at.

Gauis Caecilius has a photoblog. His Flickr account is looks great and includes photos of the Villa Adriana, Pompeii and Beasts that live in water. The latter might not seem very historical, but it allows me to boast I have a newt in my pond. I’m very pleased.

Alison Wonderland, I wish I had that kind of imagination, links to the Simithsonian’s Palaeo Art site, which is a useful thing to see.

The ever interesting ARLT comments briefly on How Art Made the World and links through to another site, Speaking as a Parent, which has a considerably less charitable view. I think there was another site which griped about that too.

Congratulations are due to 64 Baker Street who now has a job mapping. I don’t know quite what. My guess is that it’ll be street lighting and she’s been headhunted because of her obvious affection for illumination.

I’ll finish with the image by StefZ. It’s terrific but it wasn’t the image that led me to her portfolio. I found it which browsing through her other stuff. You may want to click on the ‘next’ four images.

Saepinum by StefZ.
