Bibliodyssey continues to post beautiful images. Recently on Flammarion, Sergey Tyukanov and Cosmographia on India.

I also wanted to link to the Little Professor who had an excellent post on Theory. But that seems to have gone missing. I assume it’s the Typepad gremlins striking again.

The image on the right was found via Tzvee and Palaeojudica. A group of German Christians have made a calendar of erotic scenes from the Bible.

“We wanted to represent the Bible in a different way and to interest young people,” Anne Rohmer, 21, told news agency Reuters. “Anyway, it doesn’t say anywhere in the Bible that you are forbidden to show yourself nude.

Which is true, though I recall one of the ten commandments forbids coveting thy neighbour’s ass.

Nuremberg pastor Bernd Grasser said: “It’s just wonderful when teenagers commit themselves with their hair and their skin to the bible.”

It has a website naturally and how, I ask you, could the link possibly be not safe for work? In German and in English. The BBC has the news story.

…and finally the Guinevere One probe has a website. I can’t imagine anyone’s missed the Prime Minister, Harriet Jones, trumpeting this, but Guinevere One arrives on Christmas Day at 7pm.
