I’m trying to write around 2k words a day. I have 1.5k and it’s not yet a coherent block so instead here’s some better written stuff from around the web.
The Palm Leaf has an entry on Greek Amphorae from Elephanta near Mumbai / Bombay with a nice photo. They seem to show that the seventh century wasn’t the Dark Ages for all of Europe. Old news to people trying to get us excited about Late Antiquity, but nice to see it illustrated with tons of ceramic.
The Guardian has a story which makes me quite proud to boast that I once had my IQ tested and scored 75.
Finally Past Thinking links to a Photoshop contest on the theme of Archaeological Anomalies. There’s some predictable stuff in there, but it’s worth scrolling through because quite often you’ll find a gem.
