Stonehenge Sillyness
I see I have two mentions in the Carnival of Bad History. I don’t know if I should be pleased or worried. Emperor Julius Caesar wasn’t written by the Postmodern Generator. It took about an hour while listening to the radio over the net.
On the other hand I’ll admit the start of Neotextual narrative and the interpretation of Stonehenge does look awfully similar to Neotextual narrative and modernism from the Postmodern Generator. I had fifteen minutes to spare one evening and so cut ‘n’ pasted blocks from Neotextual narrative and modernism, Discourses of Economy: Constructivism in the works of McLaren and Textual theory in the works of Pynchon together. I then replaced a few words with Stonehenge and submitted it.
This one seems to be getting a better reception. It has a positive score, so peer-review isn’t working on the site. Though given who the peers are it’s not surprising it’s passing inspection. I’m now just 300 points from super-user access. I could get those by linking to Cheathouse directly rather than through tinyurl. But that’s far too much effort. I’ll submit a third essay sometime instead.
