Sunday Godlessness

The 66th Carnival of the Godless is online at the Atheist Experience. From an archaeological perspective there’s an interesting post on the Ica Stones. Not only does Peru have some of the world’s most fascinating archaeological remains – it also has some of the most fascinating hoaxes.

There’s also a review of The Dawkins Delusion, which I haven’t got round to reading – partly because I haven’t read the God Delusion. Sadly, but not unexpectedly, the Dawkins Delusion appears to be based on what McGrath thinks Dawkins is really saying, rather being tediously based on the whole words written down thing.

Elsewhere there’s Martin Rundkvist’s comparison between sceptics and people with Asperger’s Syndrome. Given I can be susceptible to an over-active Pedant gland, I found it worthwhile reading.

And finally until Thursday you can listen to the Mark Steel Lecture on Thomas Paine, both funny and thought provoking.
