The site should be working again
I think I now have everything set up so it looked pretty much like it did before. The changes are nearly all behind the scenes.
Some changes you might notice:
You can now register for an account. The reason you might want to do this is that comments are set to be moderated by default. I think it’s all set so that I approve the first comment a registered user makes, and then they go up instantly by default. But it’s really not necessary as you can still comment without registering, it’s just that it’ll take a little while to be visible. I think this means I’ll need to make a comment policy.
Entries have friendly URLsThe Stonehenge Model by Night entry is now available at: http://archaeoastronomy.co.uk/2005/06/21/stonehenge-model-by-night/ but to keep permalinks working it’s also available at: http://archaeoastronomy.co.uk/?p=335
Feeds are moving to Feedburner (I think)There’s additional stuff a Feedburner feed can add that the standard feeds can’t. When (or even if) it happens redirects will be set up automatically.
I also plan to add in a few more plug-ins, but I’ll have to see what I have and what’s compatable with them.
