Who Were the Hurrians?

For å fine ut av hva som skjedde i forbindelse med vår sivilisasjons oppstart i Sørvest Asia så er det første man må gjøre å sette seg inn i en hel masse for i det hele tatt forstå tingenes utvikling, og særlig i en region som er så broket. Men både språk (hurro-urartisk), kultur, videre utvikling, kontekst og genetikk peker på at hurrierne (haplogruppe J2, slik som nordøst kaukasisk talerne, inkludert er og nakh folket, var) var urbefolkningen i området.
