The Great Hyperlink Disaster of 2022

I haven’t had the chance to post much on the blog over the past month or so, mainly due to focusing on teaching and the upcoming exams. However, there is light at the end of the tunnel, so to speak: the summer holiday. I intend on posting throughout the months of June, July, and August.

However, my first job in terms of blog maintenance is to deal with the issue of hyperlinks: a large majority of them simply do not work! This is because I recently moved away from paying for a specific domain – ‘davedoeshistory.com’ – and reverted back to the original of ‘davedoeshistory.wordpress.com’.

I think that I have around two years’ worth of posts to check and update. But at least it provides me with the opportunity for a little bit of spring-cleaning. The Great Hyperlink Disaster of 2022 will remind me to double-check old posts once in a while.
